This is all about us at Smart Online Staff and more. We work out of Cebu City in the Philippines, owned and managed by an Australian who saw the future in outsourcing for many of his countrymen’s businesses. Our aim is to help virtual staffing become a practical resource for Australian SMEs. These can employ Smart Online’s virtual teams or individual specialists (full time, part time or project-based) working on items such as customer support, back-office jobs, SEO, web development, graphic design, and content writing.

Despite the inherent difficulties and client doubts about dealing with offshore contracts and employees, Smart Online knows that the benefits and advantages of fast, adaptable and cost-efficient virtual teams far outweigh these problems. Its Cebu-based teams work in one of the best offshore BPO locations in the world, which features world-class amenities, infrastructure and many tourist destinations. The company location is at The Avenir, a modern office building at the heart of Cebu City’s BPO industry.

It’s no wonder that Smart Online founder Nathan Miller, with more than ten years of experience managing a virtual staff in the Philippines, saw how this work system could really take off in Australia. His online experience also includes the creation and running of a successful business website for on hold messaging, plus he has a deep and abiding interest in all things related to phone systems and the Internet.
